A Series (Most common, with A4 as the representative format)

Let's be real – A4 is the star of the show. It's the size of every office memo, school assignment, and that love letter you wrote in 8th grade (don't worry, we won't tell). But here's the fun part: every A size is half the size of the one above it. Fold an A3 in half, you get an A4. Fold an A4 in half, you get an A5. It's like paper magic, and it all works because of that fancy √2 aspect ratio math we all forgot from high school.

C Series (Envelope Sizes)

An A4 letter fits snuggly into a C4 envelope, an A5 note slides right into a C5 envelope, and so on. It's like they were made for each other – no more awkward folding or cramming letters into the wrong-sized envelopes (we've all seen that crumpled mess).
