A broader term that generally refers to big, non-manual machines used for cutting paper in large quantities in the factory.

Slitter
Typically used to describe equipment that slits wide paper rolls into narrower strips.

Paper Trimmer
Usually refers to a manual or electric desktop device designed for quickly trimming paper to standard sizes.
