Advantages of machine
The AC servo rotary paper cutter, also known as the drum-type paper cutter, is widely used to cut rolled paper into separate sheets.
From what I have observed in actual production, this servo-driven model performs much better than older mechanical and hydraulic versions. Its cutting accuracy stays at ±0.2 mm during continuous operation, which is a clear improvement compared to the ±0.5 mm tolerance of hydraulic cutters and ±1.0 mm of early mechanical types.
The machine runs steadily at speeds ranging from 50 m/min to 300 m/min, and its key load-bearing parts and cutter rollers are made of 45# steel, which helps reduce long-term deformation and mechanical wear. This machine can handle paper from 60gsm to 1000gsm, including thin printing paper and thick cardboard.
In practical use, several auxiliary structures bring obvious benefits: the built-in tension control system keeps feeding tension stable within ±5% deviation, the anti-curve rack prevents paper from curling, and the static removal device reduces paper adhesion caused by static charge.
Unlike hydraulic cutters, this servo structure has no oil leakage issues and requires fewer maintenance checks. For these reasons, it has gradually become the mainstream option in printing, packaging and stationery factories.
