After the aluminum foil has been printed and coated, it is required to carry out the post-press slitting on the slitter, cutting the large-volume semi-finished product into the required size, and operating the slit semi-finished product on the slitting machine is a process of unwinding and winding. This process includes two parts of the machine's running speed control and tension control. The so-called tension is to pull the aluminum foil and roll it to the core according to the standard, must apply a certain tension to the aluminum foil and tension the traction, which tension is the control force of the aluminum foil. Tension control refers to the ability to permanently control the tension of aluminum foil as it travels on the equipment. This control must be effective at any machine speed, including machine acceleration, deceleration, and uniform speed. Even in case of emergency stop, it has the ability to ensure that the aluminum foil does not produce any damage. The slitter tension control is basically manual tension control and automatic tension control. Manual tension control means that when the winding diameter changes to a certain stage during the winding or unwinding process, the operator adjusts the manual power supply device to achieve the purpose of tension control. Automatic tension control is a tension sensor that directly measures the actual tension value of the tape, and then converts the tension data into a tension signal and feeds it back to the tension controller. By comparing this signal with the preset tension value of the controller, the control signal is calculated. The automatic control execution unit makes the actual tension value and the preset tension value equal, so as to achieve the purpose of stabilizing the tension. The size of the equipment winding and unwinding tension directly affects the product yield, the tension is too large, the winding is too tight, the aluminum foil is easy to produce wrinkles, the tension is insufficient, and the aluminum foil is liable to produce a serious misalignment on the shaft and the shaft slips, resulting in the inability to Unwinding, and causing a large swing of the reel when cutting, affect the cutting quality, so the slitter must have a good tension detection system.
